Tropical Island Vacation – Tech Adventure Camp

Pack your flip-flops and curiosity—it’s time for a Tropical Island Vacation like no other. At Computerwisekids’ Tropical Island Tech Camp, students escape to a world where coding, creativity, and discovery meet sunny island vibes. Campers will dive into exciting coding challenges using Minecraft and Scratch, build and explore in Roblox, and solve real-world problems through digital island adventures.

Minecraft becomes their personal island to design resorts, volcano lairs, jungle temples, and underwater bases while strengthening problem-solving and computational thinking skills. Scratch’s drag-and-drop coding tools help students bring tropical stories and animated characters to life, and Roblox offers interactive free-play exploration in student-built worlds.

Beyond coding, campers will engineer and program robots as they tackle island-themed missions such as delivering supplies, navigating “storm zones,” and rescuing stranded explorers. Daily activities also include typing practice, unplugged teamwork games, and engaging AI, math, and reading challenges to keep young minds sharp. With a mix of indoor tech time and outdoor island-style play—plus an optional pizza lunch—every day feels like a mini vacation.

To wrap up the week, campers will host an end-of-camp island showcase where families are invited to celebrate their creations, from digital builds to robotics projects.

Younger Campers
• Introduction to coding with Minecraft Education through tropical builds
• Basic robotics using VEX 123 or Sphero on island-mission challenges
• Teamwork and problem-solving through hands-on activities

Older Campers
• Advanced Minecraft survival coding in island environments
• Engineering challenges using VEX robotics
• Programming and automation tasks tied to real-world island scenarios

For Grades 1–7 – No experience required
