Welcome to our Summer Technology Program, where we're excited to guide campers through an immersive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) experience. Our camp is structured to cater to two main age groups, ensuring that each participant receives an education tailored to their developmental stage. Within this framework, we introduce a variety of advanced technologies including Minecraft Education, Roblox Studio, VEX Robotics, and Scratch. These tools are not just for entertainment; they're chosen for their proven ability to bolster essential skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and digital fluency. Regardless of age, campers will engage with these platforms in ways that enhance their understanding of complex concepts, laying a solid foundation for future learning and innovation.

Minecraft Education:

Stimulates creative and analytical thinking by immersing campers in complex game-based learning scenarios.

Introduces foundational coding skills and ecological awareness through interactive, problem-solving tasks.

ROBLOX STUDIO (older campers only):

Encourages an understanding of sophisticated game design and narrative development, critical for digital storytelling and interactive creation.

Introduces students to the LUA programming language.

VEX Robotics (VEX 123, VEX IQ, VEX Go):

Offers practical experience with engineering concepts and robotics, grounding abstract STEM principles in real-world applications.

Promotes collaborative problem-solving and design thinking, as campers work together to construct and program robots.

SCRATCH:

Provides an intuitive platform for learning programming basics through visual coding, making complex concepts accessible.
